Turkiye: Nurcan Yalçın Faces Up to 10 Years in Prison in Latest Misuse of Anti-Terror Laws

September 10, 2024 - Turkiye, Istanbul

Kurdish journalist Nurcan Yalçın faces up to 10 years in prison on bogus terrorism financing charges for allegedly sending small amounts of money to two inmates, including her friend and fellow journalist Kibriye Evren.
